NIAGARA CHAPTER OF NATIVE WOMEN
Background
The Niagara Chapter of Native Women first came together for
the purpose of organizing political activities and supporting one another in an urban
environment.
In 1983 the group became incorporated. It encourages Native Women to take their rightful place in society while remembering and honouring their unique cultural and spiritual beliefs.
