Ship Safety Bulletins are a source of accurate and up-to-date ship safety information, paramount to the safety of life at sea and one of the important mechanisms for conveying timely information pertaining to safeguards against identified risks. Ship Safety Bulletins consist of a brief statement, summary of official notification, and/or direction to industry issued by the Marine Safety Directorate of Transport Canada. Bulletins date back to 1977 and are numbered sequentially in the year they are published, e.g., (01/2003). For more information please call (613) 991-3135 or fax us at (613) 990-6191.
