Harold Calla, C.G.A., C.A.F.M.

Mr. Calla is a graduate of the University of British Columbia and is a member of both the Certified General Accountants Association of British Columbia and the Certified General Accountants Association of Canada. Mr. Calla also received his certification as an Aboriginal Financial Manager through the Aboriginal Financial Officer's Association of Canada.

Mr. Calla is a member of the Squamish Nation. After many years of experience in international business (manufacturing and wholesale distribution), he returned to work at the Squamish Nation as the Director of Finance. Since then, the Squamish budget has increased from $7.5 million to $38 million. The scope of the Squamish operations include commercial business operations, land leasing and land development. Mr. Calla is also the Surveyor of Taxes for Sqamish Nation.

Mr. Calla has served as the Chairman of the First Nations Financial Management Board Advisory Panel since 2002. He is also currently a member of the boards of directors of the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation and Partnerships BC.
