Bern Will Brown paints from his log home on the shores of Colville Lake, north of the Arctic Circle and halfway between Great Bear Lake and the Arctic Ocean. He and his wife live a simple life; hunting and fishing "off the land", and raising white Malemute dogs for their dog team.
