Cultural and Recreational Facilities

Big River First Nation
The arena will be renovated in order to meet safety standards. Estimated cost: $214,100.

Birch Narrows Dene Nation
Construction of a community arena and associated site services, such as water and sewer connections, along with site development. Estimated cost: $900,000.

Lac La Ronge Indian Band
Funding has been provided for a multi-community hockey arena in La Ronge. Estimated cost: $1,600,000.

Buffalo River Dene Nation
This project is to demolish and replace the community arena's lobby and dressing room area.
Estimated cost: $510,000.

Green Municipal Infrastructure

Sakimay First Nation
This project is to consolidate Sakimay's three active landfills and decommission its three closed or abandoned landfills into one centralized landfill. Estimated cost: $400,000.

Pasqua First Nation
The lagoon conversion project will upgrade 29 homes currently using the open-pit lagoons to the new infiltrator system. Estimated cost: $269,646.

Key First Nation
The project will be an addition of a low-pressure water system to connect 21 homes to the existing community water system. Estimated cost: $287,411.

Black Lake Denesuline Nation
This project is for the construction of a certified landfill for the community and the new Athabasca Health Authority Hospital. Estimated cost: $568,900.

Ocean Man First Nation
Construction of eight water supply systems at designated locations throughout the reserve. Estimated cost: $120,000.

Sweetgrass First Nation
The project is to replace 12 single-cell lagoons with sewage infiltration systems. Estimated cost: $95,541.

Moosomin First Nation
The project is to replace eight 8 single-cell lagoons and 10 sewage jet systems with sewage infiltration systems. Estimated cost: $113,702.

Saulteaux First Nation
This project includes the pre-design, tender and construction of upgrades to 29 house sewer system services. It will replace 15 existing lagoons and 14 existing jet disposal systems with infiltration systems. Estimated cost: $216,000.

Red Pheasant First Nation
The project is to replace 41 single-cell lagoons and one sewage jet system with sewage infiltration systems. Estimated cost: $318,209.

Okanese First Nation
This project is for the planning, design and construction of a low-pressure, low-volume water supply system to service 14 homes in the west end village of the community, plus future infill house developments. Estimated cost: $138,000.

Buffalo River Dene Nation
This project is for the construction of a pipeline to provide potable water to 30 households on the reserve. Estimated cost: $400,000.

Sakimay First Nation
The project is for the installation of a piped water distribution to the 12 existing residences with water supplied from the water distribution system operated by the Yorkville Public Utility Board. Estimated cost: $200,000.

Local Transportation Infrastructure

White Bear First Nation
The project involves upgrading the existing Cannington Manor Road on the White Bear First Nation to a new primary grid standard. Estimated cost: $300,100.

Clearwater River Dene Nation
This project is to upgrade the only access road to the community from the intersection at Highway 955 into and through the community. Estimated cost: $750,000.

Fishing Lake First Nation
The project involves the reconstruction and regravelling of the three main roads on the reserve. Estimated cost: $366,000.
