SUMMARY OF DEFICIENCIES
For the Year 2005

A total of 447 inspections were recorded.
236 Units or (53%) had one or more deficiencies distributed as follows:

153 deficiencies Stowage/Securing were found (in 34% of inspections).

 

91 deficiencies Placarding and marking were found (in 20% of inspections).

 

40 deficiencies Labelling (of packages) were found (in 9% of inspections).

 

36 deficiencies Documentation were found (in 8% of inspections).

 

10 deficiencies Other were found (in 2% of inspections).

 

10 deficiencies Packaging (inappropriate or damaged) were found (in 2% of inspections).

 

5 deficiencies Container Safety Convention (CSC) Safety Approval Plate were found (in 1% of inspections).

 

4 deficiencies Segregation of cargo were found (in 1% of inspections).
