01/16/2006: The Head office in Toronto has new phone numbers
Effective January 16, 2006, the Toronto office of the Canadian German Chamber of Industry and Commerce has a new telephone system.

02/28/2006: Monthly European Lecture Series in Vancouver
We are introducing a new monthly European Lecture Series  starting Tuesday, February 28, 2006, from 6 pm to 8 pm, UBC Robson Square.
This series is organized by the University of British Columbia, Institute for European Studies and the Canadian German Chamber of Industry and Commerce Inc. with the participation of the French Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Kurt Huebner, Professor at Canada’s 3rd largest University, York University in Toronto, will be speaking at our kick-off lecture on February 28, 2006. Central to Professor Kurt Huebner’s research are topics of global and European currency regimes, international regimes of foreign direct investment, and the relations between innovation and sustainability. In this first session of the European Lecture Series, Dr. Huebner will speak on “The Euro and the Canadian Dollar in a Globalizing World”.

03/07/2006: Seminar "Investing in Germany" in Montreal
The Canadian German Chamber of Industry and Commercce jointly with Heide Rechtsanwälte and MAZARS Revision und Treuhangesellschaft mbH are pleased to invite you to their seminar "Investing in Germany" on March 7, 2006, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the University Club (Humphrey Lounge), 2047, Mansfield Street. 03/28/2006: One-day seminar: Wind Energy - "Made in Germany"
Our last seminar in Calgary with 5 German companies and German experts was a huge success. Now the Chamber will reorganize this seminar in March 2006 in Montreal.
The Canadian German Chamber of Industry and Commerce jointly with the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology and the Federal Energy Agency is pleased to invite companies, institutions and associations working in the wind energy sector to it's next one-day seminar about renewable energy "Made in Germany" - wind energy on March 28th, 2006, in Montreal.
