Anne Champagne

Anne has been with CANUTEC since March 1998. Up to now, Anne's workfield experience has been in the compressed gases industry. She obtained her Chemistry Degree from the University of Montréal in 1990. In addition to her university education, Anne has worked for several years with the Canadian Coast Guard.

Her present responsabilities at CANUTEC are shared between the Emergency Centre and her personal research. While in the Centre, Anne provides technical advice to emergency responders and coordinates response activities during chemical emergencies. Her duties also include providing advice on the safe handling and transportation of dangerous goods according to applicable acts & regulations.


Anne has completed the NFPA 472 Operations-level and Technician-level Hazmat training and the AAR Highway Emergency Response Specialist.  Furthermore, she has completed the inspector level courses for the TDGR Clear Language (Canada).
