Eric has been with CANUTEC since February 2001. Prior to his employment
with CANUTEC, he taught chemistry and physics at the high school level.
Eric obtained his
B. Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Ottawa
in 1992 and his B. Ed. from the same
university in 1993.
His present
responsibilities are shared between CANUTEC’s Emergency Centre and his personal
research. While in the Centre, he provides technical advice to emergency responders and
coordinates response activities during chemical emergencies. His duties include providing
advice on the safe handling and transportation of dangerous goods according to applicable
acts & regulations.
