The territory is located on the western shore of Ungava Bay at the head of Baie Profonde (Deep harbour), southwest of Lac aux Feuilles. It lies 80 kilometres south of Aupaluk and 105 kilometres northwest of Kuujjuaq. Tasiujaq is on the 58th parallel.
