Bill C-14, containing amendments to the Shipping Conferences Exemption Act, 1987 (Part 15) received Royal Assent on November 1, 2001, and is now implemented in Chapter 26 of the Statutes of Canada.  The new provisions pertaining to the Shipping Conferences Exemption Act will come into force 90 days after the day on which the Bill received Royal Assent, i.e. on January 30, 2002.
