WEB - BASED GUIDE
TO DOING BUSINESS WITH
THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

The Procurement Strategy For Aboriginal Business

Introduction

This interactive training tool is based on the manual “A Primer for Federal Government Procurement” available on the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Businesses’ web site.

Navigating through the different modules should help you understand the federal government culture, the procurement process, and how to market your products or services to us.

At the end of each module, you will be able to verify what you have learned by answering a short quiz. Do not worry; results are not kept, and only you will know your results.

If you have any questions, as you go, you can always contact us at 1-800-400-7677.

Have fun through the following modules:

Module 1: The Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business (PSAB)
Module 2A: Government Organization and Roles
Module 2B: Contracting Process Overview
Module 3: Bid Solicitation
Module 4: Writing Proposals
Module 5A: Bid Evaluation
Module 5B: Recourse for Suppliers
Module 6: Marketing to Government
