The views expressed in this report are those of the authors and not necessarily those
of the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development
These case studies are part of a larger report on the leverl of Aboriginal co-operative activity in Canada, which was undertaken by the Canadian Co-operative Association, INAC, Assembly of First Nations, Inuit Tapirisat of Canada, Federal Co-operative Secretariat, University of Saskatchewan and the University of Victoria. The co-operative model is consistent with Aboriginal beliefs and values and thus this study is intended as a marketing tool to provide an alternative to the corporate approach of doing business.
