The Marshall Processes: Aboriginal and Treaty Rights Negotiations in the Maritimes and Gaspé

Canada has received a mandate to begin long-term processes to consider issues of Aboriginal and treaty rights with Mi'kmaq and Maliseet groups in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and the Gaspé region of Quebec. This Web site will chronicle the process, provide background on the communities in question and introduce the key people involved in these negotiations.
