About the Database

This database contains a record of all the unclaimed dividends received by the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy (OSB) since 1994-04-01.

The date of the last update is: 2006-12-04.

There are currently 57,102 records in the database with the amount of unclaimed dividends totalling $10,341,094. The largest single amount of an unclaimed dividend is $179,636.

For administrative reasons, it can take up to 60 days before new creditor listings can be added to the database. Unclaimed dividends are removed from the database only when payment has been authorized by the OSB. Since the database is updated on a weekly basis, authorized payments made within the past seven days may not be reflected in the database.

The creditor name field in the unclaimed dividend database reflects the creditor name as submitted by the trustee. It is possible that a company name may have been submitted in its translated version or as an acronym. Translations and acronyms will not result in a match.
