This Government of Canada website is designed to provide small- and medium-sized businesses with easy access to information on business-related services offered by the federal, provincial and territorial governments.

Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals
A not-for-profit national professional organization established in 1979. Its members include trustees in bankruptcy, receivers, agents, monitors and insolvency consultants.

Canadian Consumer Information Gateway
Developed by Industry Canada's Office of Consumer Affairs, this gateway helps Canadians to quickly find clear and concise web-based consumer information and services offered by Canada's governments and non-government organizations.

Consumer Connection

Corporate and Insolvency Law Policy Directorate (CILPD)
The CILPD is responsible for legislative-policy development and the review of a number of Canada's insolvency statutes. Some of its sites that may be of interest to you include:

Credit Institute of Canada
A not-for-profit association of credit professionals that provides comprehensive education programs to its members. This is the only organization that can grant official designations to professionals in the credit field.

The Insolvency Institute of Canada
A not-for-profit private-sector insolvency organization that has played a significant role in the review and reform of Canada's insolvency legislation.

International Association of Insolvency Regulators (IAIR)
An organization of government and public-insolvency regulators from around the world, this association promotes co-operation and provides a forum for its members to discuss their collective experiences and expertise.

International Insolvency
A listing of websites, from countries around the world, that contain important insolvency information about specific regions.

International Insolvency Institute
A not-for-profit organization of insolvency practitioners, judges and academics who are dedicated to advancing and promoting insolvency as a respected discipline in the international field.
