Julie
has been with CANUTEC since September, 2002. Prior to her employment with
CANUTEC, she has worked in the Tissue Paper Industry, at different
positions, whether technical or operational.
Julie
obtained her B. Eng., option chemistry, from the Université de Sherbrooke in 1994.
Her
present responsibilities are shared between CANUTEC’s Emergency Centre and
her personal research projects.
While in the Centre, she provides technical advice to emergency
responders and co-ordinates response activities during chemical emergencies.
Her duties also include providing advice on the safe handling and
transportation of dangerous goods according to applicable acts &
regulations.
