What It Is:
NARIA is a Canadian association of professional Aboriginal music artists, and associated music business, service providers;
Our mandate is to develop, and establish a viable Aboriginal Music industry sector, while remaining true to the goals and aspirations of NARIA membership.


What It Does:
NARIA promotes its members through our web site www.naria.ca ;
NARIA produces Aboriginal Music Showcases;
NARIA presents Professional Development Workshops;
NARIA attends major music conferences, trade shows, and awards shows;
NARIA provides a “resource database” with up to date information on funding, professional development training, recording, and touring grant programs (in development);
NARIA advocates for its members to government and private sectors for resources, and equitable resolutions of issues and concerns;
NARIA monitors music industry trends to inform members.


What It Isn’t:
NARIA is not an entry level artist development agency;
NARIA is not a funding agency;
NARIA is not a record company;
NARIA is not an artist management company; but…
