This section shows broadband availability in Canadian communities. With these interactive maps users will be able to view detailed community demographics of their area by using the search function provided or by clicking on the map.

White dots = Communities with Broadband connectivity
Red dots = Communities without Broadband connectivity
Yellow dots = Communities proposed to receive broadband connectivity through the Broadband Pilot Program, National Satellite Initiative and Canada Strategic Infrastructure Fund (CSIF).

Please note that the information on communities is based on conglomerations of dissemination areas as defined by Statistics Canada, with a naming convention based on postal codes. The data comes from the 2001 Census. Should you have any questions or concerns about the data for a specific community, please indicate the community's name, the postal code(s) for the community as well as the specific concern(s).

If a company would like to be listed as a service provider in our database, please provide a Website URL that shows communities where broadband service is publicly available.

The data contained in this section has been tabulated using information gathered by Industry Canada and is not intended to define community or demographic information except for the purpose of measuring broadband service availability in Canada.
