For ApprovalsOnce your sign or plaque has been laid out, it should be faxed or e-mailed to the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and they will coordinate approvals from Industry Canada. Please contact:
Exterior Construction SignSigns should be 120 cm x 240 cm/4' x 8' for projects with over $50,000 total federal and provincial investment where construction lasts longer than six months. Signs should be 240 cm x 480 cm/8' x 16' for projects with over $2,500,000 total federal and provincial investment where construction lasts longer than a year. Your sign should be designed based on one of the following template formats. The Canada-Ontario Infrastructure Program Exterior Sign features the logos across the top of the three major contributors to the project: the Government of Canada/Industry Canada, the Government of Ontario/Ministry of Public Infrastructure Renewal and the municipal partner. The Government of Canada and Industry Canada logos use Black and PMS 185 (C:0, M:91, Y:76 and K:0). The Government of Ontario/Ministry of Public Infrastructure Renewal logo uses Black and PMS 286 (C:100, M:60, Y:0 and K:60). Arial/Univers/Swiss® bold in upper and lower case should be used for the Project Description. This text should be set in two columns and aligned flush left. English text should line up with the left edge of the Government of Canada and Industry Canada logos and French text should be set slightly right of centre. "Canada-Ontario Infrastructure Program/Programme d'infrastructures Canada-Ontario" should appear centred English over French and larger than the supporting partners' logos at the bottom. Partner logos may appear in corporate colours or black as desired to identify the contribution of the partner, but should not include promotional tag lines. The municipal partner shall ensure that the project sign is erected in a prominent location at the project site as soon as possible after the execution of the Project Agreement and no later than 30 days after the start of construction. Erected signs should be maintained for up to 60 days following project completion. The municipal partner will arrange for sign removal and re-cycling following the 60-day period. Commemorative Plaque
