The United World Colleges Australia is offering a full scholarship for a young person of Aboriginal Australian or Torres Strait Islander background to study at the Pearson UWC in Vancouver, Canada. A Guide to Native American Studies Programs in the United States and Canada.

The Center for World Indigenous Studies (CWIS) is a non-profit research and education non-governmental organization. CWIS offers internships and fellowships to their offices in the United States and Mexico.

The Aboriginal Veterans Scholarship Trust funds academic study for Aboriginals and also considers study abroad.

Trent University students may spend an academic year abroad in Chiang Mai, Thailand, in conjunction with the Native Studies program.

Students in the Native Studies program at the University of Manitoba have the possibility of spending a semester in Paraguay studying the language and culture of Gaurani peoples in Paraguay, South America.
