Welcome to the January/February 2005 issue of Aboriginal Planet!

In this, the first edition of Aboriginal Planet 2005 we are spotlighting events and exchanges which help to promote Canadian aboriginal culture and values abroad. The promotion of Canadian values is wonderfully illustrated through stories such as Canadian Aboriginal Fall in Mexico, a month long celebration of Canadian aboriginal arts and culture, or Intern Chronicles with Nunavut Youth Abroad: Arctic youth tell their stories where you will find the personalized accounts of three Nunavut youth who traveled to Botswana, Africa to share and learn from the San people of that region. Don't miss learning about how Canadian aboriginal business experts were invited to share with two International Financial Institutions (IFIs) their knowledge of important values and effective strategies when building relations between indigenous groups and enterprises internationally in Washington IFIs Welcome Canadian Aboriginal Business Delegation. We hope that you will read and enjoy!
