Welcome to the March 2003 issue of Aboriginal Planet! Aboriginal Planet Online Magazine reports on the Aboriginal Canadian events taking place around the world and on important international aboriginal events taking place in Canada. In this issue we are excited to announce the next National Connecting Aboriginal Canadians Forum (NCACF), March 24-25 in Ottawa. This forum will bring together Aboriginal Canadian communities, governments, and technology providers, to exchange ideas and experiences of how to put Information Technology to work for Aboriginal Canadians. New articles this month include a summary of the recent speech by Mary May Simon, Ambassador for Circumpolar Affairs, on circumpolar environmental security and Premier Okalik's visit to Zurich to attend the Nordamerika Native Museum dedication of its special re-opening to Inuit art.

If you aren't already using Aboriginal Planet's enhanced site, check it out - same content, better resolution and graphics. We also want to hear from you about changes you would like to see on the site. Write us at aboriginalplanet@dfait-maeci.gc.ca.
