Back from left to right - Vicki Gibbons, Nathan Amarudjuak, Eric Okatsiak, Group Leader Brian Gallagher, Simon Hiqiniq, Charlene Mannick and Group Leader Koreen Reece. Front - Norman Qavvik with Botswana President Festus Mogae.

The Nunavut Youth Abroad Program (NYAP) enables Nunavut youth aged 16 to 21 to acquire professional skills and training, hands on work experience, and high school credits through a cross-cultural work and learning experience in southern Canada and abroad. Foreign Affairs Canada supports the NYAP through the Northern Dimension of Canada's Foreign Policy.
