The Aamjiwnaang First Nation has received $100,000 to participate in a new tourism facility that will be built near the Sarnia exit ramp of the Bluewater Bridge. The facility will provide space for two tenants, the Ontario Tourism Information Centre, and the First Nation. This investment has the potential to create 16 employment opportunities.

The Aamjiwnaang First Nation has received $89,000 for the costing and engineering design for the infrastructure in Phase II of their industrial park. The First Nation has run out of serviced land for various potential lessees that are looking for space to expand or newly relocate to the park. Phase II will consist of 250 acres and will be developed over the next couple of years. This investment has the potential to create an estimated 50 employment opportunities.
