and to the Centres for Canadian Studies active in Italian
universities;
Grant Programmes (Government of Canada Awards, Faculty
Research Grants and Faculty Enrichment Grants);
Library support program in Canadian Studies; Translation
Grants for Canadian books to be published in Italy

Italian Association of Canadian Studies
The Italian
Association of Canadian Studies (AISC), founded
in 1979, has a membership of around 200. Every two
years
it organizes a major international Conference and publishes
its proceedings. The last Conference was held in Monopoli
(Bari) on October 6-8, 2005. AISC publishes an annual
scholarly review, Rivista
di Studi Canadesi. AISC members are
engaged in teaching and research in anthropology, architecture,
law, economics, education, ethnology, geography, history,
international relations, Anglophone and Francophone
literature, linguistics, sociology. AISC awards a number
