Defence Liaison Section

Role

The Canadian Defence Adviser (CDA) represents the interests of the Canadian Forces in the Republic of Kenya and the other countries to which he is accredited. He advises the Canadian Heads of Mission in all countries of accreditation on military matters and reports to the National Defence Headquarters in Ottawa on all matters of military and security interest in the region.

Staff

The present CDA is Lieutenant-Colonel Marc Tremblay and his assistant is Sergeant Patrick Couture.

Countries of Accreditation

The CDA Kenya is presently accredited to the following countries:

  • Burundi
  • Democratic Republic of Congo
  • Eritrea
  • Ethiopia
  • Rwanda
  • Tanzania
  • Uganda
