The Visa Section of the Canadian Embassy in Ethiopia collects and forwards all visa and immigration applications to the Canadian High Commission in Nairobi, Kenya for processing. Applications are not processed onsite. Allow 7-10 days for Visa processing.

Completed applications can be submitted to the Embassy in Ethiopia during office hours.
If you require your visa on an urgent basis you may send your application by courier to the Canadian High Commission in Nairobi, Kenya.

Tuesdays and Thursdays (except holidays) 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Diplomatic Bag schedule for visa applications to and from Canadian High Commission in Nairobi:
Receipt from Nairobi: Fridays
Dispatch to Nairobi: Fridays
Clients may obtain general information over the phone during office hours :
Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Fridays 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
