Icing for General Aviation Pilots presents practical information to help pilots avoid and detect ice, minimize exposure, and safely exit icing conditions during each phase of flight. The effects of icing on aircraft performance and recovery procedures are also discussed. This video was written and produced as a collaborative effort between the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the Aircraft Owners and Pilot Association (AOPA) Air Safety Foundation, with French language adaptation by Transport Canada Civil Aviation. / Le givrage pour les pilotes de l'aviation générale présente des renseignements pratiques afin d'aider les pilotes à éviter le givrage et à en détecter la présence, à minimiser l'explsition au givrage et à sortir d'une zone sur les performances de l'aéronef de même que les procédures de recouvrement. On y explique par ailleurs les effets du givrage sur les performances de l'aéronef de même que les procédures de recouvrement. L'écriture des scénarios et la production de cette vidéocassette sont le fruit de la collaboration entre la National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), la Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) des Etats-Unis, l'Aicraft Owners and Pilot Association (AOPA) Air Safety Foundation. L'adaptation française a été effectuée par l'Aviation civile de Transports Canada.
