Industry Canada is a signatory of MRAs for telecommunications and radio apparatus with the European Community, Norway, Liechtenstein, Iceland, Switzerland, the member states of the Organization of American States (OAS) and economies of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC). The main purpose of MRAs is to facilitate trade by streamlining conformity assessment procedures for a wide range of telecom and radiocom equipment.
