KEN GIGLIOTTI / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS
A delivery truck swerved into the corner of an apartment block after colliding with a minivan at Leila Avenue and Andrews Street.

One person was taken to hospital in stable condition Friday morning after a minivan collided with a delivery truck at Leila Avenue and Andrews Street in the city’s North End.

Witnesses said the crash occurred around 10:30 a.m., when the two vehicles collided and the delivery truck swerved into the corner of a suite at Greenbriar Square apartment block.

Two people were home when the truck hit the building, but the caretaker said neither were injured.

The truck driver sustained minor injuries and was later taken to hospital.

Police are investigating the crash and a potential gas leak.
