TDC's library houses a major Canadian transportation research collection, consisting primarily of journals and technical reports in the following areas of transportation research:

• air and marine navigation
• flight safety
• icebreaking
• road and rail safety
• energy conservation and alternative fuels
• environmental aspects of transportation
• accessible transportation
• human factors

TDC’s library records can be searched in TransCat Plus, which contains the records of five participating Canadian transportation libraries. Users can search the holdings of all participating libraries simultaneously or limit searches to a specific library.
