Photo - Interns gain valuable experienceFedNor provided $27,500 under its Youth Internship Program to Community Living Fort Frances and District to hire a recent Northern Ontario post-secondary graduate. Robyn Johnston (right) will work as a Technology Intern, training clients and staff how to use innovative software that's designed to enhance the capacity of people with disabilities. Johnston joins Intern Faith Moen (left), who is working as a Community Connections Coordinator for the organization. FedNor provided $27,500 under its Youth Internship Program to the Ontario Native Welfare Administrator Association, located in Garden River, to hire a recent Northern Ontario post-secondary graduate. Intern Kristy Jones (seated) will work as a Training Assistant alongside Michael Nadeau, Manager of Operations. Since its inception in 1997, FedNor has contributed in excess of $25 million to keep more than 1000 young people working in the North. |
