Search Field

You may search for licensed trustees in any of the following fields: Trustee Name, Type, City, Province or Postal Code. The order of the words within the field is not important. For example, if you want to search for a trustee with the name 'David Smith', both 'Smith David' and 'David Smith' will return the same result. Similarly, you will receive the same results, whether or not you put capital letters and whether or not you put French accent characters. A wild card character % can also be used when you are not sure of the precise spelling, i.e.'John%' will return any record with 'Johnson', 'Johnston', etc.

Trustee Name

You may specify the name of an individual trustee or a corporate trustee.

Type

You may select the type of trustees to search for: individual trustees only, corporate trustees only or both.

City

In this field, you may select only the city where the trustee's principal business office is located.

Province

You may select the province where the trustee's principal business office is located. A list includes all provinces as well as the three Canadian territories.

Postal Code

You may specify one to three letters of the postal code of the trustee's principal business address.

Search Tips

To search for all individual trustees in a firm, enter the firm name with trustee type "individual only". For example, searching for ABCD, "individual only", in Ottawa will result in getting a list of all individual trustees of ABCD working in Ottawa; however, searching for ABCD, corporate only, in Ottawa (while ABCD’s principal business address is in Vancouver), will result in "No corporate trustees were found".

"Full List" Button

Pressing the "Full List Button" will result in getting corporate trustees first, then individual trustees in alphabetical order.

Print

For any search that resulted in a list of trustees, the entire list of trustee addresses can be viewed by clicking the link "View Simple Text Version" which is located in your search results. This list can then be saved by opening the "File" Menu and choosing the "Save as" option.
