On June 28, 2006, the Legislative Assembly approved Bill No. 49-An Act to Amend the Electoral Boundaries Act [PDF, 229KB] creating proposed new electoral boundaries. Detailed maps and descriptions of the proposed new electoral boundaries are available.
On 4 May 2006 the Special Committee on Prince Edward Island's Electoral Boundaries Report [PDF, 56KB] directed Elections P.E.I. to commence with redrafting immediately and to produce maps and legal descriptions delineating the area and boundaries of each of the province's proposed 27 electoral districts.
