Finding Your PEI Roots
Many of our visitors are searching for their ancestors, and the Island has many resources to assist with that process. There are sites such as the Dalton Centre Museum in Tignish, the Acadian Museum in Miscouche, the Alberton Museum and Genealogy Centre, the MacNaught History Centre and Archives in Summerside and the History Room in eastern PEI where visitors can research their roots, and the provincial headquarters are located at the Public Archives in Charlottetown. Getting together with family this year? Call (902) 368-5540 for info on our Reunion Assistance Program.
