Automakers and Government of Canada Shake Hands on Climate Change
April 5, 2005 – The Government of Canada and the Canadian automobile industry signed an agreement that will lead to a 5.3-megatonne reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from new vehicles in Canada by 2010.
