The Health Board elections on Prince Edward Island are scheduled for November each year in alternating health zones.
In 1999 Elections P.E.I. was commissioned by the Department of Health and Community Services to design and describe electoral zones within the five Health and Community Services Regions for the purpose of dividing the regions into zones for electing members to the boards. In 2002 the Southern Kings and Eastern Kings regions were amalgamated to form the Kings Region.
Elections P.E.I. offers advice and assistance to the regions returning officers in conducting the annual Health Board Elections.
