All of the above mentioned parks also have a naturalist on staff who provides an opportunity for visitors to learn more about the area they're visiting - whether it be local wildlife and their habitat, marine life or trees and plant life - while exploring the natural beauty of the Island. All of these parks have lifeguards on duty for camper and visitor safety. Mill River also maintains a fully functional marina.

All of our day use parks provide a wide range of playground equipment, picnic shelters and washroom facilities, making them an ideal family fun destination. Two day use parks also have lifeguards on duty: Chelton Beach and Basin Head.
