Transport Canada’s 2007-2009 Freight transportation workshop was held in
Toronto, Ontario on June 14, 2006. The three expert presentations, all relating
to the theme of freight transportation, were as follows;
Marbek Resource Consultants has produced a
Summary Report of the freight
workshop for Transport Canada. This report details the workshop’s organization
and agenda; an overview of the presentations and discussion regarding the
challenges of sustainable freight transportation; identification of issues,
objectives and measures to address the challenges; and an assessment of the most
promising measures.
