Transport Canada

Transport Canada’s Sustainable Development Strategy 2004-2006 brings more precision to the concept of sustainability and strives to improve decision-making while strengthening the awareness of the importance of sustainable transportation.

The third strategy reflects the outcomes of cross-Canada consultations with a broad range of transportation stakeholders.

Transport Canada assesses its progress on an annual basis and reports through the Departmental Performance Report (DPR) as well as through a supplemental progress report.
