Government JobsHOME / JOBS / HEALTH CARE JOBS / (#13357) CERTIFIED ORTHOTIST - Queen Elizabeth Hospital PART-TIME PERMANENT 20% (IUOE) POSITION   Department: Health Location:QUEEN ELIZABETH HOSPITAL, Charlottetown OPEN TO THE PUBLIC The Certified Orthotist provides specialized work within the orthotics service at the QEH. This is a provincial program which involves responsibility for measuring, fabricating, modifying, assessments, fitting and finishing orthotic components and instructing the patient on the proper use and manipulation of the orthoses in activities of daily living. HOURS OF WORK: 15 hrs. bi-weekly We would like to thank all applicants for their interest; however only those selected for an interview will be contacted. Qualifications: Applicants must be certified in Orthotics by the Canadian Board for Orthotists and have a diploma from a recognized school in Orthotics. A Bachelor of Science degree would be an asset. Successful candidate must provide a satisfactory criminal records check prior to beginning employment.
