(#13793) Registered Nurse I, Community Hospital, O'Leary
Part-Time (50%) Temporary (PEINU) Position

(Beginning October 1, 2006 for six (6) months with the possibility of an extension)

Location - Community Hospital, O’Leary, Prince Edward Island: The nurse, as a member of the health care team, assists with the assessment, planning and implementation of nursing care to promote the achievement and maintenance of each patient’s optimal level of health and functions; develops and maintains her own clinical competency; and performs other related and allied duties.

Qualifications: Applicants must be currently registered with the Association of Nurses of Prince Edward Island. The successful applicant must have a good previous work and attendance record.

THIS COMPETITION IS OPEN TO MALE & FEMALE APPLICANTS

HOURS OF WORK: 37.5 hours bi-weekly / 7.5- and/or 11.25-hour rotating shifts / Every second weekend

Applicants are expected to complete the full length of this assignment unless applying for a permanent position.

Please note: The successful candidates will be the only individuals receiving written notification of competition results. The “Notification of Successful Candidates” list posted weekly on the Employment Opportunity board will serve to inform all other applicants of competition results.

Salary Range:	$24.51- $29.87 per hour
