PART-TIME (20%) TEMPORARY (IUOE) POSITION

Beginning Immediately for approximately one year
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
The Radiation Technologist I performs radiological examinations on patients using stationary and portable x-ray and ancillary equipment to assist with patient's diagnosis and treatment; assumes basic administrative responsibilities related to the conduct of radiological examinations; and perform other related and allied duties which contribute to the orderly and efficient operation of the Department.
HOURS OF WORK: 2/10 Rotating Weekends
APPLICANTS ARE EXPECTED TO COMPLETE THE FULL LENGTH OF THIS ASSIGNMENT, UNLESS APPLYING FOR A PERMANENT POSITION.
Qualifications: Applicants must have successful completion of a formal program of study in medical radiation technology which is recognized by the Employer and have current registration, or be eligible for registration, with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists. Applicants must have a good previous work and attendance record. Successful applicant must provide satisfactory criminal record check prior to beginning employment.
Preference will be given to IUOE members of the Department of Health
