Government JobsHOME / JOBS / HEALTH CARE JOBS / (#100301) Speech Language Pathologist, West Prince, Prince Edward Island Full-Time (100%) Permanent (UPSE) Position   Department: Health Location:West Prince, O'Leary Beginning immediately Location - West Prince, Prince Edward Island: This position provides professional services which includes the identification, diagnosis, programming, consulting, case management and follow-up of clients with communication difficulties. Duties will include: ∙ providing assessment, case plans, direct intervention and follow up services; ∙ case conferences and/or case consultation with related professionals; ∙ providing in-service presentations, workshops, and parent groups as requested; ∙ documentation, report writing, and recording statistics ∙ participating on various committees, professional development sessions, etc; ∙ providing home/school programming ∙ other duties as required. Clients will include primarily preschool children with a variety of cases seen- articulation, language, voice, stuttering, and augmentative communication. Some service may be required for adults, acute & long-term care & out-patient service. Qualifications: Applicants must have university graduation at the Master’s level in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience with PECS, Augmented Communications, Hanan & Dysphagia experience would be an asset. The successful applicant must have a good previous work and attendance record. A valid drivers licence and vehicle will be required.
