ABC Organizational Chart
Aboriginal Business Canada (ABC) employs 34 people in the
National Capital Region and 68 in seven regional offices. The
regional offices are located in the Atlantic Region (Halifax),
Quebec/Nunavut Region (Montreal), South-western Ontario Region
(Toronto, Ohsweken, London), North and Eastern Ontario Region
(Toronto), Manitoba/N.W. Ontario Region (Winnipeg), Saskatchewan
Region (Saskatoon), Alberta/N.W.T. Region (Edmonton, Calgary,
Yellowknife) and the British Columbia/Yukon Region (Vancouver). In
addition, innovative arrangements with 15 External Delivery
Organizations have extended the reach of Aboriginal Business Canada
programming, and improved service delivery in remote areas of Canada.
Alternative Service Delivery Organizations have also been established
in four locations, allowing for local delivery and investment
decisions. ABC
also provides support to a network of 54 Aboriginal Financial
Institutions that act as developmental lenders and provide business
advisory services. ABC also manages Aboriginal
Policy and Research on behalf of Industry Canada, which also includes
support for the National Aboriginal Economic Development Board. In
support of the Canada-Aboriginal People's Roundtable process,
ABC fulfills the
lead federal role for Economic Opportunities.
