Income Security and Benefits
Employment Insurance--This site provides information on all aspects of the federal government program on Employment Insurance Benefits.
Human Resources Development Canada - PEI Centres--This site lists the Human Resource Centres located on Prince Edward Island along with a short description of the area that they serve.
Workers Compensation--This site provides information on benefits for injured workers.
Canada Pension Plan--This site provides general information about the Canada Pension Plan.

Student Loans and Grants
Canada Student Loan Program--This site will give you the basics about federal loans and grants available to students at the post-secondary level.
Prince Edward Island Student Loan Program--This site provides information on financial assistance for those who wish to attend a post-secondary institution.
Holland College Scholorships, Bursaries and Awards--This site provides information on the application and awarding process for Holland College scholarships, bursaries and awards.
University of PEI Scholorship Database
Canada Millennium Scholarships--Starting in the year 2000, more than 100,000 scholarships will be awarded to full- and part-time students each year. Individuals can receive up to $15,000 over a maximum of four academic years of study toward undergraduate degrees, diplomas or certificates.
Student Awards --This Canadian site gives you immediate access to a database of thousands of scholarships, bursaries, fellowships, grants and other financial awards.

Loans may be available from the Chartered Banks and Credit Unions for students who do not qualify under the government sponsored Student Aid Program.

Business Loans and Grants
Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency(ACOA)--ACOA's goal is to improve the economy of Atlantic Canada through successful development of business and job opportunities.
PEI - Business Development--This site contains business information concerning investing in Prince Edward Island.

Loans may be available from the Chartered Banks and Credit Unions to assist entrepreneurs in a business start-up.
