A Departmental Performance Report (DPR) responds to the government’s commitments and reflects the goals set by Parliament to improve accountability for results. DPRs, which are tabled by the departments/agencies in the fall of each year, explain what the government has accomplished with the resources and authorities provided by Parliament. Departments and agencies that produce Sustainable Development Strategies are required to report on the progress against commitments made in their Sustainable Development Strategy in their annual DPR. - Greening the Federal House, 2003 Report from the Sustainable Development in Government Operations Initiative.
