The Meteorological Service of Canada is in the process of consolidating its weather information web sites into a single national web site in order to provide a single, comprehensive, consistent source of weather information to all Canadians. "weatheroffice.ec.gc.ca" was launched on July 3 and in the months to follow, we will gradually implement changes and improvements to offer Canadians a world class weather Web site. Our services will continue to run uninterrupted but we would appreciate your patience during this transitional period.

Internet access to our weather information has been growing exponentially and is already the Federal Government’s most accessed web site, as well as one of the top sites in Canada. We have reached the point where we must restructure our sites and upgrade our technology to meet the public’s expectations.
