The Atmospheric Science Division develops forecast techniques and provides science input to the smog prediction program in Atlantic Canada. The division also quality controls data and maintains ozone data archives; reports on smog levels by doing climatology studies; interacts with computer modellers and provides support to atmospheric science researches who perform field studies.
